Geode

When we went to Banff, we brought back uncracked geodes for the girls.  We thought it would be fun to do with Grandma, so we finally got to it right before we took her to the airport!!

Boy, was it tough to crack!  One succumbed, but the other was a doozy.  Turns out it wasn't hollow, but it was still pretty inside.  Lots of hard work pounding!
