Tikvah has a birthday!

Time flies when you're having fun!! And Tikvah sure is a lot of fun!  Thank you God for our sweet girl with the ready smile, contagious laugh, willing spirit, and 100 faces!  With a little attitude mixed in at times too. :)

In the last year Tiki has lost two teeth, and a new one is coming in where another is wiggly on top!  She's grown a lot!  Struggled with math.  Read a bajillion books.  She'll find a book she really likes and read it over and over! Top favorites right now: the Melendy series, the Grandma's Attic series, and the All-of-a-Kind Family series.  Top activities: playing with Selah, in particular with small animals.  They act out all kinds of story scenarios!  Very imaginative.  Also, riding bikes, trying out new physical feats, collecting rocks, playing with friends, creating new crafty things, and drawing a lot.

This year birthday fun was a little delayed--Tiki had the stomach flu starting the day before her birthday and lasting a day afterward!  She still managed the gumption to open presents and do her fun "event" which was horseback riding on the actual day, but chose to delay cake until a few days later.  Poor kid, a birthday goes down in infamy!

Selah and I went to the Dollar Store and the thrift store and she got some presents for her sister!  Its fun to see what she picks out.
 Silly faces
 Selah joins in the fun
Super long hair (all these and more were from sister)
7 crown--the foil crowns are a family tradition started when Selah turned 5.
Horse from Uncle Jacob... which is a preview to...
 ... horseback riding for real!
 Birthday girl on a pony
 Led off into the woods
 returning from a fun ride

Even Bally thinks horseback riding would be great!
Cake time (okay, birthday brownies) with friends
Silly faces!
