sukkot
We scrounged around the house for wood, and came up with some pallets. They made a great solid kid-sized sukkah! Last year we built a Selah-sized sukkah which promptly blew down in the storm that night. This year's is still standing. We decorated with paper chains and kid drawings and cocktail umbrellas and lists of what we are grateful to God for. The girls had lots of fun playing in it. And then we built "edible sukkahs" idea courtesy of chadiscrafts.com This is Tiki after the edible sukkah was demolished.
