Simchat Torah!

Which means "Rejoicing in the Torah!" Today at services we rejoiced! We marched around the sanctuary with the big Torah, and also with a small one--mostly the kids paraded, and some adults, and the small Torah was for the kids to carry. All the kids also got to go up on the bimah and watch the Torah get rewound from Deutoronomy back to Genesis! That was some fun! We are so glad that God gave us His Torah, His Law, and also His Son Jesus!

After all this excitement, the girls were playing in their room this afternoon laying on either side of a quilt, and wound themselves towards the center saying "we are a Torah!" lol. At least they were paying attention, right?

On a sadder note, please keep our pastor and family in your prayers. His mom just went to be with the Lord this afternoon. We are praising God though that she came to love Jesus about three years ago. Selah and Tiki just say "oh, then she's in heaven!" Sounds like a good time to them! And it is, but sad for those who will miss her here.
