challah

We make challah almost every friday. I usually start it while the girls are napping, and when they wake up its ready to braid.
What a wonderful tradition! And aren't their matching aprons adorable? A gift from a friend... originally from Home Depot!

Incidentally, Selah now thinks any braid is challah. I braided a long string of yarn, and now the "challah" is one of her sleepy toys, along with baby juice and a doggie and its blanket. I think we need to start reciting the brucha and hamotzi over her bed. :)
