Happy Resurrection Day. aka Easter

first, an update on Tiki: a whole turnaround! Once the docs cleared her for spoon feeding again, she has been consuming great quantities of food. Probably an attempt to gain back the weight she lost eating just enough to keep herself alive. I didn't realize my laid back, easygoing kid also had a strong will! Oh boy, am I in for it! I also finally found a sippy cup that she would drink out of, so she is again having milk after about 3 weeks without. Boy it was weird to not see any smiles for 10 days. Poor kid. I think she is already making new sounds. And she has been learning signs too.

I finished the Resurrection Eggs with Selah today. They're a product from FamilyLife Today, (fltday.com) and have a symbol in each egg to tell the story of Jesus' last week, ending with an empty egg since Jesus is no longer dead! She begged every day to do the eggs. Though I think it was more an excitement over what was going to be inside than really understanding. We have the book Benjamin's Box that goes with it too.

Sun-Wed we kidnapped Chrissy and headed to Michigan to visit college friend Megan. That was a great, great time spending time with good friends and also having a hand with the girls. Which was better? Don't ask. No, just kidding, the friends time counted for more. :) And Selah got to go hog wild over the dog that was there. She is a puppy freak. She carries around this stuffed puppy everywhere.

and today is the birthday of my biggest brother. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SETH! If there are any wonderful single ladies out there, I have two great brothers who would like to meet you. Go to Portland. I'll even tell you all their secrets so you can know if they're *really* the one. hehehe
