Tiki's all fixed up!

Tikvah pre-op

Well, its been fun having grandparents here and a lot of family! Its the first time all of us have been together in about 3-4 years. Other times we've had chunks of us together, but not all.

anyways, Tiki had her palate surgery! They okayed it for Monday, and she stayed healthy, praise God. And amazing, how God worked out timings and that Micha could rearrange his schedule to be there for the surgery and a couple of days after, and gparents still being here!

However, post surgery she got a fever (normal for a few days) but kept her fever until today. I think that it is staying away now though. We went back Friday and they gave her a new antibiotic, which seems to have done the trick or else she just got over it. Scary.... to have a fever so long and not be eating too. She's not eating a ton--doesn't like the syringes that she has to use for 10 days. However, she is just fine with the arm restraints amazingly enough. We've been giving her different juices, and she goes for some of them, and some baby foods. But everytime Selah gets to eat cheerios or cheese, or graham crackers, or stuff like that, she looks at it and starts fussing, and then refuses any more syringe food/liquid. Can't wait til she can have a spoon again and cheerios! It was so wonderful to have her fever break today and she was smiling again and playing, and even got a laugh or two in! Thank you God our healer! Thanks too for all y'all who prayed and are praying!
