Solar Eclipse August 2017

We weren't 100% for the eclipse, only 87%, but it was still pretty neat. We got free glasses from the library, but then went to grandparents to sit in their yard and watch. And eat Magnum bars. Ahem!

We had a cloudy day, so without the glasses, you never would have even known there was an eclipse! And the clouds actually were a benefit because we could (quickly) look at the sun with our naked eyes and see the shape even better than with the glasses sometimes.

And Uncle Jacob came for a visit at this time too, so we were using him as a PLP. (Public Leaning Post) He's the best.
