Tiki's Surgery #4 July 2017

Poor Tiki. Now she remembers when she has surgery. This one put hooks for elastic bands into her jaw bones (like ones for braces, only this moves her jaw, not her teeth!). It was a pretty quick surgery and home an hour after the surgery ended! But recovery wasn't so grand. After a day or so her cheeks started swelling and pain seemed worse this time. But, hopefully she'll avoid a more serious jaw surgery down the road! 

Granny sent flowers and balloons but Tiki was already swollen and couldn't smile.
