Isbell Family Reunion July 2014
Late July/August 2014:
We got to go to a Family Reunion--family we had never even met. Micha's mom was an Isbell, the daughter of Edgar and Martha Lou Isbell. Her dad was the oldest of 8 siblings (if I got that right), and they have a reunion every other year in Oklahoma. It was amazing meeting all these people, who are descended from pastors and missionaries and are still loving the Lord. Micha's aunt and uncle go, and his two sisters and family came for the first time also. What a blessing!
There was about 120 people there--and everyone got along! :) We met one family whose dad (one of the original siblings) had been a missionary in Venezuela. So they all spoke Spanish. Their dad gave a devotion Sunday morning. It was really neat to meet everyone and see the impact of a godly line!
hanging out on the bell--which rang to announce mealtimes. Each family was in charge of providing a meal for the weekend.
all the (attending) descendants of Edgar and Martha Lou.

We got to go swimming--there was a dividing wall between the deep and shallow ends, and a fun blow-up canoe! The kids also spend time at the lake, fishing
