SEVENTY! November 2016

This year Grandpa's birthday fell on Thanksgiving Day. He turned 70!!

All the siblings came in and we had a great time celebrating our Papa. He always writes 'Roses are Red' poems for us on each birthday, and gives us our age in dollars. So we turned the tables on him and all wrote poems and gave him $70! It was a lot of fun. He is a great man, and it's a privilege to honor him. 

Because it was Thanksgiving, we made an ice cream cake in the shape of a turkey! We used chocolate and vanilla, and Grandma had a blast asking if we wanted white meat or dark.

We also lit 70 candles (giant fire!), and lit sparklers.
