Happy Birthday Selah!

Our darling daughter is SEVEN!!!! She is so bright and creative!!! A few months ago she started drawing (of all things) tongues on paper, and then decorating them with faces and bodies. She named them "tongue pets". Well, while on a date we popped into a store and in their toy section found an inflatable rubber tongue!! We laughed so hard, and knew it would be the perfect gift! And it was!!! She loves her real life tongue pet. lol.

For her birthday we took the girls bowling. We had a nice snowstorm that day and struggled through falling snow for double the driving time... but it was worth it! They had a lot of fun!

Selah loves to sneak up behind me and give me an "attack snuggle"!! She is still very stubborn, and we pray that her persistence will have eternal value some day!!! Selah has Bible knowledge of one much past her tender years, and a memory for Scripture that gets verses word perfect! This summer we memorized Isaiah 52-53, put to a made-up tune, and she remembers it better than I do!

Selah is very musical. On the list for this year, when travels are over: Piano lessons!! She got that musical gene passed down and we are eager to see her develop it. Selah is picking up books on her own and reading them. She can read anything! She loves making crafts, and has a great imagination for games with her sister and friends.

We are so proud of you Selah!!! We love you! (and when did you get to be seven anyway?)
