Camp Gilgal R us
Camp was awesome. There were 19 campers, and "Mocha" led half of the Tablernacle times (Bible), including getting Foxes Book of Martyrs read to the kids each day. They were really challenged by the stories and many related how they will be bolder now because of it. "Zer0" led the crafts time. We made drums (the kids painted them, but most did NOT want to touch the wet rawhide--the koolaid we used to color it made it feel like raw chicken!) and then did some wood burning. The girls did great being away from home, and slept for hours every nap time as they were just tuckered out from the adventure of it all. Their favorite counselor was "Rockstar" who we hope we can con into babysitting later on. :)
A lot of these pictures are from our field trip to the Ft Wayne Zoo.
And Tikvah is holding an example of the girls' favorite activity at camp: compiling pinecones. Woohoo. Now THAT is my idea of fun!
