Camp Gilgal 2016

The girls' second year at Junior Camp, run by Jews for Jesus. I think they enjoyed this year more than the first year.

But the day before they left, Tiki wrote me this hysterical note:
"Why aren't you snuggling your poor ten year old who is being shipped off to a dark and dismal camp soon?"

They picked two activities each week. Similar interests for both: they picked CSI, theater, superhero training, and pioneers. Rifles and archery were fun, as well as trying to build a log cabin. Campfires, crafts, water fun and swimming, friends, and sillyness... all part of camp. And let's not forget complaining about the food.

CSI: working on fingerprints and clues

Craft in process. Would you believe they chose to make their mosaics a la Star Wars?

Tiki gearing up for a ride on Caspian
 Selah on Apollo
 Shabbat with Asher
Tiki and company all dressed up
Field trip to the ballpark: everyone went on the field to sing "take me out to the ballgame"

Awards given--Reuben's flag went to Tikvah (and she got it the previous year too!)
Awards given--Asher's flag went to Selah
Time to say goodbye and load up for the trip home!
