Kids and God

On a recent trip we were behind an ambulance at a stoplight.

Tiki: "Mama, that reminds me of a story... in the BIBLE!"
Me: "That's right! Which story?"
Tiki: "About Moses, and the people in the wilderness, and they had to look at the snake on the pole to be healed!"
Me: "Why do you think they have that picture on the ambulance?"
Selah: "Because they know that God is the one who heals people!"


Later that weekend, we were ice skating--the first time ever for the girls! They were troopers and persistently got up over and over after falling to try again. Selah came up to me and told me "Mama, I'm singing 'God is Mighty' and its helping me to keep skating!"
