Cohen baby #2

Tikvah Abigail (TEEK-vah) entered the world on April 26, 2006 at 3:08pm. Thank you God for a new little girl! Tikvah was 7 lbs, 10 oz and 20.5 inches long. She has a full head of dark hair, and loves to sleep! Tikvah also has a cleft lip/palate, so she will face some correctives surgeries in the first bit of her life. A beautiful, healthy daughter to join our little (now BIG) Selah.

Selah is not really sure what to make of her. She likes to come over to her and say "baby" as a cross between a statement and a question. But she is adjusting well and is very happy to have Mama and Daddy back home from the hospital. She did great for Grandma and Grandpa and we were very thankful to have them here to care for Selah.
Labor was super easy this time and fast! By the time I went into the hospital, I was already at 8cm, so only an hour later Tikvah joined us!
Tikvah's birth verses are from Psalm 71:14-15
"But as for me, I will hope continually,
And will praise You yet more and more.
My mouth shall tell of Your righteousness
And of Your salvation all day long;
For I do not know the sum of them.
Tikvah's name is Hebrew for "hope", and we pray that she will put her hope in Jesus, the Hope of Israel and of all men.
